HUMPS NOT DUMPS MEDIA RELEASE

Today Humps Not Dumps will be visiting W.M.C 's (Olympic Dam) pump station BOREFIELD A. This is where the nuclear cycle starts. At this pump station W.M.C is pumping water from the Great Artesian Basin to Roxby/Olympic Dam to aid them in the processing of Uranium.

Action at Borfield A

Humps Not Dumps will be joined at the pump station by Arabunna elder Unkle Kevin Buzzacott from Lake Eyre Camp 15km's west of Borefield A. Here he has been campaigning against W.M.C stealing the water from Arabunna land, which is devastating the unique mound springs of the area as well as many sacred sites.

Kevin "This sacred water is taken to Olympic Dam to process Uranium. If we don't stop this here, the waste will be dumped in this country and the rest of the world.Borefield A is working full on, it's killing this country, the land is suffering, the people are hurting". (Kevin is presently in court chargingW.M.C's boss Hugh Morgan with genocide).

Humps not Dumps will have a presence of peaceful resistance at the pump station today in solidarity with the Arabunna people who have had first hand experence with the genocide of the nuclear industry.
